TAKING EVERY THOUGHT CAPTIVE

image

We have to keep our minds on the things above and not on earthy things. The word of God says “whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything excellent or praiseworthy- think about such things.” As we read the word of God we will begin to learn more about those things. Then we will be able to  bring every thought that try to come up against the knowledge of God. The Bible tells us to “demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive of every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”

How we do that? After
bringing it captive, we replace it with the word of God, saying what God has to say about your life.
