I love crating bucket lists according to the seasons to help me to do new activities with my boys according to the season we are in. After looking up new ideas I will print them out on hard stock paper and post it up in the kitchen and classroom. After I post the list up, we go over the things on the list. Something’s we don’t get around to doing and something’s they might not want to do at all. We do not go in order because the weather might not permit us to.

Here is a list of activities that’s on our bucket list for this upcoming spring:

  • Have a picnic
  • Plant a veggie or herb garden.
  • Hang yarn and string in your trees for birds to use for their nest-building.
  • Make a birdbath.
  • Make paper boats and sail them street gutters after a rain.
  • Blow bubbles in the spring breeze.
  • Make wind chimes.
  • Go fishing.
  • Go to a farm and visit the newborn animals.
  • Make a birdhouse.
  • Plant a flower garden.
  • Go on a nature walk.
  • Draw with sidewalk chalk.
  • Look for animal tracks. Use a pocket guide to identify them.
  • Fly a kite.
  • Look for rainbows after it rains.
  • Take a hike.
  • Play tic-tac-toe outside with chalk and rocks.
